Are you passionate about arts and culture? Do you have creative ideas to share? Looking to build your skills and gain valuable experience?
We’re seeking a new volunteer trustee to join our small, dedicated team at Prestwich Arts Festival.
Now in our 9th year of the festival, we continue to be a firm community favourite in the calendar. Our mission is to connect the local community through creativity and the arts, encouraging participation across all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We’re proud of our strong foundations, but we’re always evolving and inviting new contributors to shape the future of the festival.
As a 100% volunteer-run organisation, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in bringing our annual arts festival to life for the local community. The board meets monthly throughout the year, with weekly meetings in the lead-up to the festival in September.
Marketing & Communications Lead (Volunteer Trustee)
Role Overview
We’re looking for an individual to lead marketing and communications for Prestwich Arts Festival, driving audience engagement, ticket sales and visibility across digital, print and press. You’ll oversee the full campaign cycle — from programme launch through to post-festival wrap-up.
This is a hands-on role combining digital marketing, content creation, ticketing management and event promotion.
Ideally we’re looking for an individual who is confident in managing websites, has experience in social media marketing and basic design skills (Canva or similar)
