Prestwich Arts Festival is a community event run entirely by volunteers. We're so grateful to our generous sponsors - Jennie Platt, Tesco Bags for Life scheme, Parklife Community Fund and Bury Council via The Pitch - whose support has made 2019's festival a reality.
Bury Council has run The Pitch community fund since 2017 - it is open to groups and residents who are undertaking projects that will contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of local people within their community.
Jennie Platt Estates and Lettings are the independent North Manchester property specialists with particular focus on Prestwich and Whitefield. They pride themselves on offering a friendly, good and thorough service - and being part of the community.
Parklife Community Fund was created to provide local investment in the communities around Heaton Park in Prestwich. The funding puts particular focus on projects that impact parks and green space around Prestwich.
Tesco Bags of Help community grant scheme is run in partnership with environmental charity groundwork & sees grants awarded to thousands of local community projects each year, thanks to the votes of Tesco customers in store.
Thank you also to Prestwich Arts College and The Woodthorpe for offering their venues and support to the festival this year.
We're also really thankful for the support of Ben Harrison for taking the wonderful photographs you can see throughout this site and of course InHaus for creating the PAF brand and our website.
Thanks also to the generous support too from our local councillors: Cllr Eammon O’Brien, Cllr Alan Quinn, Cllr David Silbiger, Cllr Michael Powell, Cllr Tim Pickstone, Cllr Cristina Tegolo and Cllr Steve Wright.
