About the event
Jill Moore still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up and she's comfortable with that.
Art has always been a labour of love and this passion has seen her through fashion school, assisting Shelley Fox and sampling for Cath Kidston, exhibiting at London Fashion Week, teaching textile technology, opening a boutique in Paris and organising fashion, food and music based events.
Most recently, her love of photography and fine art have taken her on another exciting path. For Prestwich Arts Festival
Jill captured some of the local businesses in candid shots, enriched with friendly, salt of the earth characters.
These subjects have led the charge in the renaissance of Prestwich as a vibrant, cultural destination with community at their heart. In just a few short weeks, Jill has developed a small collection of acrylic and hand-stitched paintings for the festival that can be viewed for a limited time in The Crooked Man.
She will also be available for pleasantries from 2-5pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September at The Crooked Man supported by DJ Chris Rayner and plenty of cake and nibbles.
