About the event

BOOK TICKETS

FREE event,  but numbers are limited so please book a ticket per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult (no ticket needed for adults).

Become a little green artist at Heaton Park Stables with The EarlyBird Project. We'll be making paints and paintbrushes from nature’s treasures and creating a colour collage to carry out a nature hunt in the park. Suitable for children aged 2 and over. All welcome to get creative with nature!

This is sure to be a popular event, so please let us know if you're not able to make it after booking tickets so we can offer the space to another little artist - thank you!

About The EarlyBird Project and Little Green Artists

The Earlybird Project places creativity at the centre of children’s formative years. Its aim is to facilitate creative encounters with young children and their families and use this as a catalyst for sustainable community development and research. The creative lead, Natalie Mason, has a background in photography as well as over 20 years’ experience in the Early Childhood sector. She is currently studying part-time for a Master’s degree in Education, following the Creativity and The Arts pathway. Recent collaborations have included researching children’s creativity and engagement at Bury Art Museum, facilitating a creative curriculum project with a Manchester based nursery chain and delivering creative

play workshops to benefit the local community.

Little Green Artists project is a collaboration with Radcliffe Artist Liz Ross. It has been designed todevelop a community of young creatives by introducing eco-art methods and resources to children and encouraging families, encouraging them to develop these ideas further at home.

Liz Ross is a former Primary School Teacher with a passion for the Arts. After taking some time out to raise her young family, Liz changed direction and has become a Contemporary Mixed Media Artist. She now runs ArtbyLibs where she plans and organises workshops for both adults and children - inspiring them to explore their own artistic and creative abilities. Liz has a love for bringing people together and inspiring creativity. Through the use of our green spaces, she is able to provide accessible and inclusive art activities for all.
