About the event
In collaboration with Global Grooves and Elk Drumming. Drumming and lantern crafting workshops will be held throughout the day where everyone is welcome. We are looking for around 150 people to create lanterns to create a special event celebrating Prestwich and its creative and talented community. A combination of craft and musical performance which is accessible to all audiences in which parents and children alike can take part together. All skills and abilities welcome! Music and craft celebrating the festival as the sun goes down on the final evening for #PAF2019. Everyone will be invited back to form a parade with the lanterns and drumming groups at dusk.
Workshops will be held throughout the day at Heaton Park Cafe Stables, with the parade at dusk through Heaton Park.
