Hello Prestwich. Along with everyone else we've been thinking about how best to react to the current situation we all find ourselves in. While we don't know what restrictions might be in place by September, we've had to consider if we'd be able to safely plan and deliver the programme of activities we'd started thinking about for this year.
Ultimately we want everyone to be safe, so we've taken the decision to postpone the 2020 Prestwich Arts Festival. We know funding is likely to be more difficult to come across in the future, so we're rolling over our resources and concentrating our efforts on delivering a festival in 2021. Hopefully by then we'll all be able to get together to celebrate our amazing creative community.
We working on ideas for keeping in touch virtually - and we'd love to know what arts and crafts you've been up to in lockdown. We've loved seeing the rainbows pop up all around We know that nothing can keep down the creativity of Prestwich folk!
